We stopped here for late breakfast on Boxing Day. The person who runs it was working on her own serving tables and taking orders, and she had people helping in the kitchen. Regardless of the small staff, the service was very good and fast, and the food was tasty and served with love. Bottomless coffee is always appreciated, and for a small diner, they do serve a wide variety of breakfast meals and ingredients, from beef sausage to grits. Now the prices… they’re from a 2002 menu. Our total bill was $16! You won’t regret coming over to this place. I’m certainly becoming a regular at Union Street Cafe Bonus: they speak Spanish

I wish I lived around the area so I could come here often. I didn’t realize they were closed for lunch break, but they still let me in, cooked this great meal for me, didn’t charge me at all since it was my birthday. Miguel was a great guy. It’s a very old school restaurant but very nice. I wish to come back.

I have been eating here for a little over 3yrs. The Food is definitely decent as well as the prices. The delivery services is also pretty good. However The counter clerk who takes the orders have to learn HER place. I placed an order for my colleague and asked that it was made delicately due to reasons and on the pick-up of the order this person (the worker) mentioned how i placed the order and WHY! That was extremely out of order and not her place. YOU ARE A SERVER in HOSPOTALITY STAY IN THAT LANE". The food and delivery get a #5 Star ,The waitress gets a #2 for that.

So local small diner fits about 55 people and thats ok. I had the corned-beef-hash omelet and coffee $7.65. They take cash only so if your one $10 will do, under $20 for two and don’t forget the tip. There is only one server so don’t expect for her to run around all jolly, she waited and served and asked if i needed anything else and thats all that is needed. She isn’t rude or anything so check yourself and be prepared to eat a good meal at a decent price. The food came out fast and hot. Do your local business a service and eat here. Was a 8min walk from my hotel. They do take out AGAIN CASH only. If you’re visiting support the local long term eateries. Rate and leave a message or photo. I gave them a 4 star due to the no cash but i get it. Highly recommend for breakfast. Oh by the way don’t let the picture of the hash omelet turn you away, as you can see in the finished photo. Extra special cause Brady bunch was on the t.v.

I love a good diner! The hubs and I made two trips to Union Street Cafe. We visited once for breakfast and once for lunch. Breakfast is hot, fast, and tasty. The amount of food for $8 is an amazing value. The home fries really made me happy. For lunch I had a Philly cheesesteak with fries and coleslaw. That coleslaw is killer. I ate mine and the hubs. The cheesesteak didn't meet my expectations. It didn't have the flavor I was accustomed to. At the end of the day, I'd visit again. Oh, and it's cash only so bring your dollars.

My roommate, boyfriend and I came here almost every Saturday to debrief the previous night and start our weekend when we lived in the area. The waitress, Annette, began to recognize us and she memorized our order as we never deviated from our meal choice. The coffee is great and the atmosphere is calming, inviting, and friendly. The potatoes are something special here as well as the prices! We truly miss it now that we have moved!
